Good morning is it possible to put the freestyle libre 1 sensor when I have a freestyle libre 2 reader? (my freestyle libre 1 I had never put it on) and how diabetes comes (what are the causes) I'm going to tell a little about my life quickly I'm 13 years old in fact I have a blood sugar problem which is quite high but my glycated emoglobins were fine so well soon I'm going to do a hgpo test to see how I react to sugar and I have blood sugar that can be very high around 200 and after that it can be normal 80/90

Freestyle libre is a great product as this technology has eliminated the finger pricking about which I have to think twice before each test. Now I don't need to do frequently as Libre is in my life. Also, Blucon Nightrider helps in avoiding scanning the sensor. Now no more scanning the sensor. Blucon transmits readings of the sensor to mobile and watch without scanning

Just consider buying a Freestyle Libre with caution as the service from Abbott is really not good.

i have been using freestyle libre sensor with nightrider blucon for last 2 years and it has greatly helped me to control my A1c and prevent hypo episodes with help of alarms and voice alerts it has.

Hi guy I’ve just tried “ not just a patch “ from amazon to cover and protect my libre 2 sensors . In 5 weeks I’ve had not problems with the sensors coming off , these patches are unbelievable , there not the smallest but I don’t think there is a better patch on the market , I work as a carpenter and love a soak in the bath after working out in the cold sometimes , no problems they are so sticky even after the 14 day . Good luck - give them a go

I am extremely scared of needles, but this was very easy to apply. I am using it with nightrider blucon over libre sensor which helps me manage my diabetes without any scanning or any pricking and updates me with every 5 minutes readings

FYI I watch this video every time I have to on a new sensor because it scares me too

Yes happened to me once that the applicator didnt insert and then i had to return sensor back to abott for replacement

Great video! My endo recommended Nightrider Blucon with Freestyle libre US 14 days as a CGM and I must say it has taken my diabetes management to another level. The Linkblucon app also allows my family to follow my spikes and lows. It's the best CGM I've tried yet!

I'm using Ambrosia's blucon since 2 years & it works best with Freestyle libre and pro version. It gives you readings on phone and apple watch every 5 minutes without scanning. You can share readings with your caregivers too..

My endo recommended to use Nightrider Blucon with libre sensor and I can safely say that this is the best CGM I've tried..

Chocolate, although tasty, is not a very good way to raise low blood glucose levels quickly as it also contains fat and protein in addition to carbs. Fat slows the absorption of carbohydrate, and protein will continue raising blood glucose levels long after your immediate need is satisfied. You will get faster response from just plain old sugar or glucose tablets as they are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream. An additional advantage to using these tablets is that you will soon be able to calibrate how much each tablet will raise your bG and therefore be able to avoid over responding and winding up with a very high bG.

I have a dexcom

I applied my 1st sensor 13 days ago and will be removing it tomorrow. It stuck when I applied it and never came off or loose the entire 13-day period. I did what the directions said and washed my arm with soap and water, dried it, and then applied the alcohol swab. After the alcohol dried, I applied the sensor and it never came off. I will have to remove it tomorrow, so we'll what happens then. I hope it comes off as easily as it was applied.

its been out there for son long and i just found out today.. lol anyways started today. putting the sensor patch kinda stings a little and feeling tingling around the area .. but ill manage it..hope it goes well. ur mark after removing the sensor was scary.. does it hurt? i have diabetes from a very young age like i was 8 year old and always hated finger sticks but now since the controlling is hard and i always forget, my doctor got me this,.
